Plants that may be poisonous to pets:
Amaryllis: vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart and respiratory difficulties and/or kidney problems
Arrowhead Vine: swollen mouth, tongue pain, sore lips
Azaleas, Rhododendrons: loss of appetite, salivation, lethargy, vomiting, potentially fatal if ingested in a large amount
Bird of Paradise: vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart and respiratory difficulties and/or kidney problems
Bittersweet Woody: may cause vomiting and diarrhea, fever, lethargy
Castor Beans (seeds): vomiting, bloody diarrhea, fever, lethargy, convulsions, death
China Berry: convulsions
Chrysanthemum: possible rash after contact with skin or mouth, dermatitis
Caladium: swollen mouth, tongue pain, sore lips
Coriaria: convulsions
Creeping Charlie: vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart, breathing and/or kidney problems
Creeping Fig: possible rash after contact with skin or mouth, dermatitis

Daffodil Bulbs: vomiting, diarrhea, could be, but rarely fatal
Delphinium: may cause vomiting and diarrhea
Dumb Cane (Dieffenbachia): swollen mouth, tongue pain, sore lips
Elephant's Ear: salivation, pain, mouth irritation, sore lips, shaking of the head, difficulty breathing, it is an immediate emergency if breathing is difficult
Emerald Duke: swollen mouth, tongue pain, sore lips
Sprengeri (Asparagus Fern): vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart and respiratory difficulties and/or kidney problems
Ground Cherry: may cause vomiting and diarrhea
Indian Turnip: may cause vomiting and diarrhea
Ivy: vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart and respiratory difficulties and/or kidney problems
Boston Ivy: swollen mouth, tongue pain, sore lips
English Ivy: salivation, thirst, vomiting, diarrhea, colic, coma, death
Glocal, Heart, Needlepoint and Ripple Ivy: vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart and respiratory difficulties and/or kidney problems
Japanese Yew (needles, bark and seed): tremors, weakness, difficulty breathing, sudden death
Jerusalem Cherry: vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart and respiratory difficulties and/or kidney problems
Larkspur: may cause vomiting and diarrhea
Lily of the Valley: vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, irregular heartbeat
Loco Weed: hallucinations
Majesty: swollen mouth, tongue pain, sore lips
Marijuana: lethargy, loss or coordination, difficulty breathing, personality and behavioral changes, excitability, vomiting, diarrhea
Mistletoe: vomiting, diarrhea, could be fatal if large quantity is ingested
Moonweed: convulsions
Morning Glory: hallucinations
Mums (Spider and pot) : vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart and respiratory difficulties and/or kidney problems
Mushrooms: salivation, vomiting, diarrhea, colic, coma, symptoms may vary with type of mushroom, could be fatal
Nightshade (berries): loss of appetite, vomiting, colic, bloody diarrhea, lethargy, salivation, difficulty breathing, weakness, paralysis, coma, death
Nutmeg: hallucinations
Nux Vomica: convulsions
Oleander: vomiting, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat
Onion (raw): anemia, is unlikely pet will ingest enough to be fatal
Pothos: swollen mouth, tongue pain, sore lips
Periwinkle: hallucinations
Peyote: hallucinations
Philodendron (Heart leaf, Marble Queen, Saddle leaf, Split leaf): salivation, pain, mouth irritation, sore lips, shaking of the head, difficulty breathing, it is an immediate emergency if breathing is difficult
Poinsettia: by ingestion, vomiting and diarrhea - by contact, skin and/or eye irritation
Poke Weed: may cause vomiting and diarrhea
Purple Foxglove: vomiting, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, not usually fatal
Red Princess: swollen mouth, tongue pain, sore lips
Rhubarb Leaves: convulsions, coma, death
Skunk Cabbage: salivation, pain, mouth irritation, sore lips, shaking of the head, difficulty breathing, it is an immediate emergency if breathing is difficult
Tobacco (including flowering garden plant): salivation, vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, weakness, coma, difficulty breathing, death, symptoms progress rapidly, usually not ingested by cats or dogs
Umbrella Plant: vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, possible tremors, heart and respiratory difficulties and/or kidney problems
Water Hemlock: convulsions
Weeping Fig: possible rash after contact with skin, or mouth dermatitis
Wisteria: may cause vomiting and diarrhea
