Savant Lake on Hwy 599, is located north of Ignace. For approximately 100 Km along this highway, you�ll experience some exceptional wilderness areas as well as the Sturgeon, Young and Graystone Lakes.

 
Boasting some of the best fishing around, anglers have reported catching upwards to 100 walleye in one day, a northern pike measuring over 3 feet and numerous lake trout weighing in over the 20 pound mark.

The region�s outfitters maintain outstanding outpost camps with first-rate equipment. Many outdoorsmen use Savant Lake as a take off point for their fly-in fishing/hunting trips.
