Wild at Heart Wildlife Refuge Centre
Wild At Heart is a wildlife refuge centre established over 20 years ago in affiliation with the Walden Animal Hospital.
The centre provides emergency care, surgical intervention, ongoing treatment, and rehabilitation for numerous local wildlife species.
The focus of the centre is to provide the opportunity for the reintroduction of injured or orphaned animals back into their natural habitat.
Early in 2004, Wild At Heart received government recognition as a charitable organization and is working to obtain funding to build a full rehabilitation and educational centre.
