Huntsville - in Ontario's Near North
Located at the northern edges of the Muskokas, Huntsville is a thriving community. Located just a short 2 hours north of Toronto, the area attracts visitors from across the province. Beautiful Algonquin Park is close by and the drive through the area in the fall is spectacular.
Started in 1993, the Huntsville Festival of the Arts has taken its place in the forefront of the arts festivals. Initially based on classical music, the Festival has grown to include dance, theatre and literature. During the month of July, various venues throughout the area serve as stages for the many festival events.
